I used the AUD study guide and the AUD practice questions. I found the practice questions to be of most use to me.
The study notes helped focus my attention.

I find AUD to be an easy section. This cram guide was useful. You get the summary of the most important points to refresh your memory.

I used the 2018 version of the material.
The material was well edited, condensed and saved me some time. For other sections I made my own notes.
I still think there is value in making your own notes. What they should do is create big page margins or page blanks to give you space to add your own notes.

I took the cpa exam Auditing section and FAR in July 2018. I just got my results. I passed Auditing with a 76! and failed FAR. FAR is the hardest section so maybe expected on first try. This study guides work well if you put the effort in you will pass. just got my book for the BEC section.

I needed CPA exam questions and a study guide. I was on a tight budget with 2 kids. I spent $37 for the AUD study guide and it was a helpful summary. You will need a CPA review course. The study guide is a summary and you need a full length CPA review material or the Wiley study guide if you do not have a solid foundation in these fundamentals.

I purchased last years version and I was sent the free upgrade for 2017 since I didn’t pass the exam. The 2017 version is 10X better than the previous version. The format is much easier to follow as everything is laid out nicely.
The content also uses a lot fewer abbreviations in 2017. In the previous version I was unfamiliar with a lot of the short hand.

I failed AUD on my first two attempts. I took a different approach and tried to study in a more focused way.
The section on IT in this book was really helpful as I know nothing about technology.
