I used MCQ’s for the other sections. I used the study guide for this section. The notes were similar than what I prepared on my own. Most of the important information is highlighted in these study notes.
You can’t replace a CPA review course though. I used Yaeger.

I was quite overwhelmed with all of the CPA study material. This BEC guide saved me some time because I did not have to make study notes. I am quite old school when it comes to studying. I need to write things out by hand in order to memorize things. That was my strategy.

I think it is good value for the money.
The notes are summarized well and organized in an intelligent fashion.
I would use it for the other sections.

I tried the 2018 BEC study guide and it was helpful. Each chapter is about 3 pages long and gives you a summary of the most important content that you need to memorize.
I found some of the other focus notes – eg – Wiley, CPA Rev For Free to have too much information for a cram package. The BEC guide is concise and more suitable to memorization.

This study guide helped me pass the exam! Now on to the next one:)

I’ve used most of the CPA Army products. I thought this was the best summary guide of them all.
The key with CPA summary notes is that you need something that is short and sweet but also in depth. It’s a fine line and this guide is probably the best of the bunch.

I can’t give it 5 * because I think it is a little too short.
